The first thing I notice is that the distribution of detail could be better. Right now, the most sharply defined area is his naval, followed by his face. Both of those things are smack in the middle of the frame, which basically pins my eye there and doesn't encourage a thorough reading of the composition.

You might also consider defining your lightsource more clearly . . . the light is coming from the left, but what kind of light is it? Skylight? Sunlight? Torchlight? And what color is it? The lighting now seems very sterile, and not in keeping with such potentially-creepy subject matter.

I definitely like the face, but at present it seems like the only area that's been refined. I would say keep his face, but re-think your lighting and staging. Maybe find some reference for the rock formations, and don't let them get so blurry.

I agree with balistic's critique. Another thing I'll add is that the model looks kinda rough right now. There's a sharp line going down his chest that could probably be smoothed out on the mesh, but I can't really tell since I haven't seen the wireframes. I also think that the fat rolls can be defined a bit more, and the breasts could be overlapping the body more instead of just jutting out. It makes the breast area look too muscular.

I'm not sure about the rocks being too blurry as balistic said, though. I think the whole background could be darkened up so that the character can be viewed better. Right now, his weird arm is being lost in the background and I can't make out any of the details.
