Hi all! Finally i've decided to finish my char, hope you'll like it.
She was ment for real-time, game target like SoulCalibur.
7174 tris (body, armour, shield and sword);
1 texture 1024 x 1024 for the armour;
1 texture 512 x 1024 for the body;
1 texture 512 x 512 for the hair plus cloth texture;
1 texture 512 x 512 for the head;
1 texture 1024 x 1024 for the shield;
1 texture 512 x 1024 for the sword;
yeah, a bit large, but meant to be scaled....kept big only for rendering.
rendered with 3 lights, no effects, only lambert shaders, no post.

can we see some wires :thumbsup:
specifically the shoulders, i'm really interested in seeing how you set up the mesh so they deform well with all the armor... if you dont mind... thanks!!
this is front page stuff btw
Nice model and textures! Love everything about it!

I like everything except for the eye placement. They seem like they need to be lower. Please post Texure maps and wires, please. I also think the Tatoos shouldn't fade off. It's too bad some of the detail looks like mush from far away.

never mind the wires and textures I found them.OOPS.

Top Notch !!
Only thing that looks wrong to me is the neck, its a bit long and narrow at lower end.

AWESOME you finished it.
*aesir begs for an animation to be made

Thank you all guys!
Psan : mh, yes you're right, it's a bit long, but i think that give her a more gentle behaviour, in open contrast with her "Armouress" :),
bytheway i thing it's a side effect of smooth skinning, i've tweaked till i could reach the better result....so this is what i was able to achieve.
aesir: yess....but actually i have many works running, secondly my skills of riggins allowed me to realize a "mo*@ì?ì? fu @èà?* bad setup, maybe when i've learnt better :)

Great stuff, nice model and textures (as it was before offcourse)
I like the poses. The first one looks a bit weird though. Looks like her upper body is a bit too short because of the perspective.

She's the best game-like depiction of an high-elf that i've seen so far!

02-20-2004, 04:35 PM
excellent..truly top notch low poly modelling..and texturing.
BUT *crowd goes "boo", "hiss!", again*
HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!... my god man.
those uber high heels just dead right stop me from thinking that this elf lady is a serious warrior....it doesnt look practical.. too hollywood-ish...not even the excessive grace jones wore heels in the second conan the barbarian movie.
im sure you cut maybe 3 miles off those heels and still make her look uber sexy..
okay rant off.

Looks good , but the soul calibur characters are in the 15-20K poly range ....anyways nice work on the texture
