View Full Version : Maya Unlimited/Complete to Maya PLE?

I know this may have been asked many times before, so you're welcome to just give me a link so i can educate myself.. hehe. I haven't found an answer to this question so far and this is why i came here.

Is it possible to take scene files from Unlimited or Complete and import them into PLE? The reason i ask this is because i have some scene files from both unlimited and complete that i'd eventually like to import into PLE, but I heard there are restrictions on import/export functions... would i be able to work in unlimited or complete and then when I'm done take everything into PLE and hit render?

In case you're wondering, i don't own unlimited or complete. I used both unlimited and complete in college. I'd rather work away from the PLE watermark crap while I'm getting things to look right and then move things over. So is it possible?

what does the readme say? - AFAIK that's not possible - maya PLE can only handle PLE created files

well that's 500 bucks and it's only valid for a year. What do i do after that year is over? do i have to pay another 500?
