View Full Version : Mirroring IK set up in 3Dsmax 6

Hi all! I'm looking for an easy way of mirroring IK set ups for Arms and legs in Max 6. I'm rather new at rigging in 3Dmax since I'm used to Maya. Basicly, if I mirror an arm IK or leg IK how do I unparent from the hips and shoulders and move the selection without throwing the whole IK off. I know there's probably a basic solution, any help would be much appreciated!

Well, i don't know in MAX6, but in 5.1 you just select the object(s) you want to unlink and press this button:
