OK, last night I thought I might as well do some lessons from the book I bought a few weeks ago, "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain"

Here drawing I copied by hand using HB pencil on drawing paper.

I copied the original upside down, as recommended in the book.



Don't know about anyone else :shrug: but I am pretty amazed at what I drew! Took around 25 minutes.

So, I CAN draw!

Did you try to sign your name upside down aswell? ;-)

very good drawing.. I'm just really starting myself. and so want to go from the basics also.. but i keep telling myself to stop jumping ahead.

looks good.. keep at it! (i'm starting to realise their are no shortcuts to good drawing skills! )

Is copying paintings / drawings by other artists a good way to learn drawing / painting skills?

Anyway. I do recommend the book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brian"
