Hi Everyone

The panic button has been pushed due to the deadline of a job Im working on right now. I'm after a quick and easy way to create the steam rising from a cup of coffee. I appreciate that has been talked about before but couldnt seem to come up with any results from my search. The cup is at the forefont of the image so it will be in full view so I guess it has to be leaning towards the realistic side. Do have pyrocluster if thats any help.

Any help on this would probably keep me with a full head of hair!!!!

Thanks Again

Ian

take a look at the smoke example on my site, it uses a plane which is being deformed, youwill need ditools (the old one will do) ignore any other plugin errors it comes up with, the flatcolor shader was part of praline form bhodinut, and just is a single color, in 8.5 there's a single color shader in the core you can replace this with, or if you're using earlier 8.2 then use a single color gradient.

odd ... I just posted exactly what you are asking for. Look down the list to a thread today called "steam from hot coffee". There's a link to a render hopefully describing what you are asking. I can send you the file if you want.
