Yep, another tank. I wasn't trying for complete realism, but I wanted to make it look realistic. It's 299 polys, with a single 512x512 texture w/ alpha. The lighting and bump map are baked into the texture. (The model was rendered without lights). I'm prolly gonna start applying for modeler/texture artist jobs here in the next couple months, does this look like professional work? Comments and critiques are much appreciated (and I'm cool with honesty). Here's the link.....

I like it. Fits right into a modern-day RTS.

The mainbody seems blurred. It doesn't destroy the feel of the model, just.. detracts a bit from it.

Wouldn't hurt to show the wireframe and flat texture btw.

It seems you've modeled the hole in the faceplating for the machinegun. Maybe that's a bit too detailed?, considering the detaillevel elsewhere. Just a thought though.

Cool. Thanks for the reply gaggle. Yeah, I'm working on the blurriness issue. The texture is pretty sharp, but the render isn't for some reason. There's no hole in the faceplate of the machinegun, though. Just must be my ace modeling and texturing that has decieved you (lol). Think I'll add some text/symbols to it too. The hole I was talking about is the.. dip in the faceplate. The uh.. top space between the two edges. Where the gunner looks out from.

It's a cool detail, don't get me wrong. Just, one could wonder if an alpha wouldn't've been sufficient given the low-detail nature of the rest of the vehicle.

Anyway, t'was just a thought, not really a crit.
