yo man check out my site i just finish modelling it, 4 years no touch 3ds max already spend my ORD time learning and doing this http://mengsdesign.50megs.com/home.html

not horrible, though your lighting could use alot of work. The lighting seems very poor, it needs shadows mainly, and get better lighting overall.

look around and see how thigns cast shadows when there are overhead lights. When there are side lights. When there are multiple lights. then try and recreate those.

Work on texters and lighting. Basically, what the last guy said.

thanks guys will remember that, i turn off the auto relfection when renedering it took me 20mins for just one image, iwhen i turn it on it took me 11 hrs and still running i cancel it at last, will the images be better with the auto relfection turn on???

Here, post it to the site, so we can see it more easily.

We don't u set up a peticular shot you want. It's much better to perfect it from one angle, trying to make a finished piece, then to make the whole thing without a goal in mind.

For textures, use imageafter.com best photo textures on the web.

Also, Id have the light coming from only one side. It makes dynamic lighting. You have it coming from all sides, which makes a really bad composition.

Keep workin. It'll get better.

Thank you very much for your advice, how to make like coming from one direction, you mean faking it?

I dunno, if thats what u call faking it...:shrug:

But ya, U REALLY need to define a light source. Notice how flat it looks. One side should be light, the other in shadow. U see?

oh i understand now thanks man, make object cover with both light and shadow
