Ok, a quick update... reduced his stomach a bit, made his legs not so bow-legged, and gave him a nice little beret.

After seeing them next to each other now... I definately like the slimmed down version more.

Hi! I Really like this character, thought of making a Mime myself. I think that the updated version is better even though a fat, bow-legged Mime might be a little more interesting when animated. Even so, I think that you did a great job thus far. Can't might to see him textured an animated.

Hey, thanks bohman... I too thought I could get some pretty interesting animation out of the original model, but then when I changed it, it just looked so much better. I'll still keep the other one around just for fun though.
Well, I think I'm pretty much done w/ the model... I fixed his legs, finished the mouth, and gave him some gloves. I'm gonna try and work on the textures tonight.

Only one crit. The way the legs are jointed makes you think he'll walk like an ostrich, knees bending the wrong way. Looks like it'll be a great character. Nice.

Well I've textured the shirt, which still needs a little work. I'm going to give the face some mime paint too. The rest will just be solid colors as seen here. I still need to give him some eyebrows... and a friend told me I should give him a moustache too... but not sure yet, I might try it just to see how it looks...

i honetsly say that the gap between leggs is wayyy to much, if you were aiming for thaqt style, thats all good then. but it drags my attentino away from every where else

the thing with the gap between the legs is if he was to be animated it'd definitely look bizar..the modelling overall is good just not sure if it'd animate well with the big gap.

I would make him bowlegged at the knees, not the hips. Put the hip joints closer together and push the knees farther apart. Animating him with his knees apart will also give him a unique walk.
btw, good move reducing the belly; really didn't go with the rest of the character.
