hello i need help in tips or technics i can use to reduce my polygon count in my models, right now i ahve models with more than 5000 polygons, with a good detail, i hope that you can ive me tips on how to reduce this polygons into a low poly number, without sacrifizing much of the detail, thx

Here's a short list
- Delete faces you won't see (e.g. on the bottom of a car)
- Simplify faces (e.g. remove edges that doesn't help define a curve). You have to use your best judgement on this
- Don't model anything that would look just as good on a texture (I don't know what your model is so this might not apply)
- Post your model on the WIP forum for far more experienced CGTalkers to crit;)

also, i think we don't hesitate to delete faces and rebuild them to make the model as simple as possible.
