Hi,

me & my friend are working on some subd models and we want them rendered in Mental Ray. There seems to be a problem with mapping - i mapped this head below and textured it, it renders fine with Maya Software but produces strange results in MR :surprised. Can anyone help us with this? I have a feeling that it's something really simple we're missing here...

i think mr cant transfer the uv to higher subd level - do the texturing in level 0 or on the the poly

well, that's how it was done - textured in poly and converted to SubD... but thanks anyway.

any other ideas?
