i actually managed to win a compo with this one. the theme was to make a contrast between a building and its environment.

made in max4.25 and rendered with final render.

hey, i like the idea!

The contrast is very godd, just thinking about making the clouds flat too.
They belong to the environment, so i think, it would look a bit better with the clouds in 2D

I especially like the dumb look of the cows :D

thanx. i didnt like the coulds straight flat. i needed volume in the sky so made them "3d". and for the ground; you really think it looks normal? :)

hehe, well what I ment was that it isn't textured, all the elements in the pic are textured, exept the floor ;)

ah, ok. the reason was that it got too messy with anything on the floor. i tried grass too. so i left it like that.

Hi spm,

Guess I'm one of those folks who really likes this image but am hard pressed as to exactly why ! But I do know it's fun, light hearted, full of whimsy and makes me smile.

I bet you don't take yourself too seriously . . . do ya ?!
This is a good thing :)

i like it. but is it better to put the clouds as card board too? like you did to the cows.
