View Full Version : Bones pro 3 Help

Hi all,
I am having problems with the shoulder Rig with my character.
I am using bones pro 3, for him, I tried to use skin but it took too long to solve all his envelops and still the fingures and the arms looked better in BP3(also tried to use physic but after i moved his hands and seen the streaching I immidiatley took it off).

can anyone give me an advice on how to solve it?

(when i try to lower the strength and falloff, i get wierd elbow joint problems, and the shoulder still looks creazed, and when I increase it he looks like a football star:( )

have you tried using some metabones in there?

This could be a result of how you modelled your character.
Which is probably not what you want to hear at this stage.
It would be good to see a wireframe.

I am using metabones , but it still does that shoulder creaze,

Hey,
shoulder areas are notriously tough.
bay raitt (http://cube.phlatt.net/home/spiraloid/)
talks about the need to model a shoulder more anatomically correct.
The fact that you have modelled the clothes makes it a different matter.
I have never tried this but maybe if you break your model up into more than one mesh and have them joined at the seams it might be easier to deform.
