FI has a Wrinkle plugin ( http://f23.aaacafe.ne.jp/~fisjunk/plugin/plugin.php ) but I couldn't get the database to work to give you a direct link to the plugin...see if it works for you. Its the best Wrinkly plugin I've tried. I have the plugin at home that I could post for you on monday morning. Other than that one there are a couple others but one is commercial ($30). Here is one I found doing a search on flay.com http://www.fxrealm.com/support/files/MGIntelUpdate.zip called MetaGroove. See how that works for you. FIs Wrinkle works awesome so if you want that I can get it to you monday.

You can have some pretty good results in making wrinkles using Spin-Quads. Here is a quick and dirty example.

Note the quick and dirty as mentioned . When correctly applied you can actually have pretty decent wrinkles. Did I spend time and do it correct? Hells no...I was just tossing up an example.
Anyways its a thought if you can't get the wrinkle plug-in to work.
