View Full Version : Still Life: Growing Up
IDrawGirls 02-14-2004, 11:34 PM This is a new version of an old speedpainting I did.
I paint too many unfinished pieces so I try to finish some.
I can still make changes.
For example I'm not sure if the painting should be there!?
It's just a placeholder btw.
It was done in The Gimp for Windows with a mouse.
Any C&C are more than welcome (... I guess).

Wow, this was done with a mouse? I'm impressed - drawing with a mouse is like trying to draw with a potato! If you're this good with a mouse, you really ought to get yourself a Wacom tablet.
Btw, the new version of The Gimp (not yet available for Windows) is a major improvement over 1.2.5. It's worth checking out Linux for that, if for nothing else. :)

Hehe thanks for your reply.
I bought a tablet but can't find the stylus.
I know with a Wacom I could work faster. But right now I have a mouse that does what I want.
Usually they don't ... that's probably why most people don't like them.
I found Version 1.3.22 for Windows somewhere. A development version afaik.
I will install Linux sooner or later.
There's a lot to worry about before I can mess with my running system though.
I tried something with the painting in the background. But I think it is a bit too much of a cliché.
Not sure if I should keep it.
