this is my latest work :D cartOOn wOrld :D
Finished during 4 day and I use software 3ds max (Render VRay) and Photoshop for final composition. C&C are welcomed :bounce:

Very nicely done, I like the style and look of the scene. The slant of everything reminds me a lot of Rocko's Modern Life. Keep up the good work, I'd love to see an animation for this. :)

That's very lovely looking picture. :applause:
My only crit is to add some details to the background. Even if it would be pure landscape, would be nice to have it fading out with depth-cue. :)

the tutorials that come with max are quite good actually, i first learned out to skin using the standard max tutorials. i would check those out first.
just go to the tutorials section under help and search for rigging or skinning i forget which one.

Reminds me a bit of Jimmy Maidens (http://www.boring3d.com)'s work, specially on the render and lighting you used.
did u use max6 blobmeshes to create those clouds and trees? just curious... I never get the right shapes with that thing... :)
If you have a character waving at the camera like yours, make him look at the camera too, right? your character seems to have his eyes a bit off, just a thought.
