no. nothing. just a word and everyone is looking in the thread.
i is very sad that this 2d forum doesn't come to life.
it took a long time but now i'm taking it as a personal thing. it's either me who suck or my artwork.
website invitation: just three comments
scribble: no comment
forum fun: very low visitor numbers
maybe you think this posting is ridikilous (right spelling?) - maybe you are right. maybe i'm a sissy or a looser. don't really think so but tell me. should i pi.. off? stay?
:hmm:

Do you mean the 2D forum in general (which has a lot of life in it, in my opinion) of just your posts?
You need to remember that not everyone has your schedule, and not everyone has the time to rumage through their sketchbooks, scan them and post them just because you want to see some sketches. I suggest you look after your own posts and lead by example by posting as much as you can.
And I hate to say it, but attention seeking threads like this won't gain you any friends either.
:shame:
you are right, attention seeking headlines ain't very pc.
i think a community lifes through participation. some threads in here have about 250 readers and 0 to 8 answers and that's not very active. ok i must say that there are other examples with 4 pages full of dicussion.
it is not 'hey i wanna see work, work, work'.
what i want is answers. noone has to say 'i like it' if he doesn't. i want to hear 'it sucks' if it does. it is better than silence.
on the other hand - i'm in an artists-crises. sorry for posting with a attracting title.

...and threads like these aren't helping much.
I come here to have some fun, to be amazed or to help some one out who really wants to learn something. Not to see the 1 minute scribbling of someone who just wants some attention.

I think the forums are very active (again, are you referring to your particular threads or the overall forums?).
But also remember that this site gets a lot of traffic from non-members. Anyone is allowed to view any of the threads but in order to post a reply you have to sign up and recieve a confirmation email etc. A lot of people just couldn't be bothered doing this.
So out of 100 views on a thread, maybe only 60% (just guessing here) are by people who can actually reply.

my scribble posting was sort of an answer to another thread but i posted a new thread. i admit that this was a big failure.
my scribble was not a one minute work. i worked about 15 minutes on it. it was not like 'let's make a fast fast scribble for cgtalk'! it is a scetch for a 3d model i'm working on.
i'm sorry for this unlucky thread. can a moderator delete it? well, looks like a try to hide myself and as if i don't stand for this thread. i will do if necessary.
i understand that cgtalkers do that for fun - givin feedback, critics and so on.
puddlefish: my thread was because of my other threads with low feedback. selfish. sorry.

I think you can delete your own thread under the edit option.
