View Full Version : still: apple too!
Last time my apple is too dim to let you appraise it.
So I give up the clear one this time.
Thanks for seeing and saying something about it.
this is my classmate.I modeled it with his photo.

great work! :) I like the glow in the porcelain shines, it grants an elegant atmosphere; although I think that the "grooves" of the apple are very accused,
what software you use? you can maybe add it a little bit of DOF.

Nice man nice, the reflections on it is wonderful, your apple looks really nice, but the refelection in the middle of the cup looks wired maybe some one could tell me where it is coming from so i can see and under stand it.
oh,I'm sorry I don't know.My English is poor so I have many questions about CGtalk,but I will learn learn learn.
I used BRAZIL.What is DOF?

:buttrock: rock dude! that kicks ass! .. one little tiny point of critisism... the apple's look a bit too perfect.. give them a bit more (irregular) shape and it'll kickass even more!!

The only thing that worries me is the apple shader! Normally the apple is a bit more glossy and the texture doesn't seem to fit right!
Love the lighting though!
DOF = Depth Of Field
:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Looks good. Besides what everyone else said about the apple, i would try lowering the reflection just a bit on the cup and try more of a fresnel effect where the edges get more reflective than the front.

Yes DOF=Deph of Field
It is an effect of the camera lens, basically it allows to focus an area in the picture and defocus the environment, it will give bigger realism and atmosphere to your image.
