What do you think about MaskTX reviving all the old threads?

Well I don't have anything against MaskTX, but it's kinda stupid to reply on stuff which is so old, and also, peoples new work dissapear really fast.

PS: this thread doesn't actually fit in this forum

Got alot of free time?.....did you just hunt down posts with stars? Maybe if you had reviewed work without stars and given some helpful advice, as apposed to blowing sunshine up the.....well you know.... you wouldnt have been voted a toad sucker. haha

Man, you have alot of free time.

How can you not understand the point I'm trying to make?
Most of these threads are over 2 or 3 months old, they're dealt with! And the creators, who got 5 stars mind you, don't need or don't expect any more comments or advice.
And the only thing you are able say is stuff like "waw, very good " nothing more.
That's old news, we already know it's good work, hence the 5 stars!
And most important, it's very annoying for people who post new stuff and try to get some comments on their works. Now these revived threads have pushed their works to the second or third page!

I hope you keep this in mind for your future posts.

I think it was a bit insane to come back overnight and find 3-4 pages of posts like that..and now the whole forum is a jumbled and confusing mess of new and old threads.

Not that this great work should be forgotten, and there were a few I missed along the way, but life is like that, and it is unfair to the newer/current posts. And yeah, if it were threads that undeservedly got left behind, that would be better than heavily viewed, 5 star threads..they obviously got plenty of kudos the first time around. And because of this avalanche I think some threads that deserve attention may get left behind. It's hard enough to get replies and notice sometimes as it is.

Anyway, just my thoughts on it. Don't think you're evil, just being silly, bored, or trying to hit a certain number of posts.

(Believe me, I post waaay too much, it's very easy to have a lot of posts and not even think about it. So, no offense, just chill..)

Wait a sec, isn't this what the gallery is for? If these works are so great, they don't need any more critique. Plus, if they are 2-3 months old, I'm sure the artists are finished with them by now and have moved on to other things. It's pointless to revive them because unless someone out there has a ridiculously creative and innovative suggestion, the artist isn't going to go back and edit a 3 month old piece of art. Save this sort of thing for the gallery, so we can avoid the "ooh, your my hero" comments on a 3 month-old post.

By the way, the "realistic models" thread. You know, the one where the kid thought he was bein funny by posting a photo of Winona Ryder and pretending it was a model. I didn't think it was that amusing 3 months ago. Now, it's just lame. Get rid of it.

MaskTX: What kind of maniacal crusade are you on? Please give it a rest, you're flooding the forums with old crap.
