at the moment I try to rig a dino...just to learn a bit, and animate him...
anybody knows references about that ?
or have concrete ideas?

What app are you using? I rigged an allosaurus (similar to your T-rex, there) in Cinema 4D.
It's probably easier than rigging a human biped. Not as much arm and upperbody movement. The key is correct foot control. Look at an ostrich's foot and watch them run for reference.
Your dino would lean a little more when it walks and lean even further if it ran.
Although the hips are moving up and down, the head should remain fairly level. So you'll need independent torso and hip controllers.
You can probably set up an automatic tail dynamic so you don't have to animate it by hand.

I use cinema, too. have U animationexamples of your dino?

I've done a little walk cycle.
If you search the Cinema threads and look for "dino" you'll see textured stills.
