Looking for ideas about adding fine details to this heart model (Wings3D modeled).

Of course, I know a lot can be done with the textures. However, someone mentioned to me a lot could be added with something like Zbrush (which I don't have at the moment). Or, I suppose I could just keep on cutting in more polys. I'm still debating whether to model the coronary vessels (the ones that clog up and give you a heart attack) or to just texture them on.

By the way, unless you know something about heart anatomy don't compare mine to some heart ref found on the internet since these refs can vary considerably in overall shape.

The objective of the model is to have a really good reference of a mostly idealized heart (red arteries, blue veins, etc...) for use in anatomical and health related illustrations.

if you try to model some veins in the surface of the heart, when your going texturize your model apply instead have bump you have vein un your model, itīs more real!

Another test render of the coronary arteries. It still needs a few more branches.
