hi

I just formated my hard drive earlier and I re-install photoshop.
There should be a panel or a dock on the top right where you hide window such as layer, channel, history etc. but that area is missing.
I couldnt figure how show it back on there.

does anyone know how?

thanks

It might be helpful to know what version of Photoshop you are using...

But the only way i know of making the pallet dock dissapear, is by lowering the screen resolution to the point that photoshop thinks there's no room for it.

Try increasing your screen res a few notches and see if it appears.

press shift + TAB

if that doesn't work

click Window > workspace > reset pallete locations

I installed photoshop Cs at first but then I uninstalled because it didnt show the pallet dock. Then I installed Photoshop 7. It doesnt appear to have it either.

Reset pallet doesnt work.
The pallet dock the the empty space where you put pallet in
it is on the top right concer.

thanks

ah ok..

In your palette click on one of the arrows on the right and select Dock to palette well. See what happens..

Or is it that you don't have the Options bar open? Window > Options
