Hey, nice camera. I had to type the url into the address bar to see them.
The reason your pics don't show is that geocites does not allow hotlinking. To get around that you can just rename from filename.jpg to filename.txt and it'll work.
Some of the things about the camera are too smooth. And some nice materials will do a lot.

hey the Armenian, thanx for the reply, i've tried fixing the smoothness problem by Chamfering some of the edges, i've think its better now, still no materials, its coming..

lookin good, maby the case could have more white in it. uv also got some texture streching on the wrist strap thingy.
is the whole thing ment to be a metal?

thanks for the reply Bushfire (thats a hard thing to get round here)
i'm not really sure about what case you are talking about, but about the wrist strap texture i'm trying to fix that right now.
and about the material its not really shiny metal but more like
stainless steel.
heres a picture of the camera

Nice. My only crit besides the UV problem on the strap would be to add a large amount of blurry reflection on the body of the camera, it's fairly evident on your refs. Then lower the amount of diffuse light it's reflecting (well, you know what I mean). The reason it looks plastic is because it's amount of diffuse light is too high, and reflection too low.

muyyatin has good points. You also need to look into the glossiness and whiteness of those reflections. reflections on metals often have fairy small spots.

thanks for the replys people,i fixed that stripe UV problem.
i think i got that metal i was looking for.
there is a skylight and one omni in the scene, i've canceled the diffuse of the omni so that helped (thanks muyyatin).
its still a bit too reflective but when i lower the amont of reflection its goes back to look like plastic, do you have any idea how to fix that?

Ok, I think that this is looking better know!
My only points are:
The band position seems a little strange and impossible to be this way(IMO).
Maybe you can try a different background environment.
Keep us posted!

i've got the text on and the metal on all the button.
the button were burned out, but i've fixed that it'll be ok on the next render, plus the text is bold in this render, i've changed that also. :)
i'm adding some things to the scene, a model of my mag monitor
(that i did a while ago) in the background and the camera's memory card.
mikepol |3D|: thank for the cc, i'm still working on the band, i've fixed it a bit, i'll in include in the next render.
memory card:

realy good stuff, the metal shader is in deed realy well done,
the modeling is good too, but i keep looking at the mode selection button and it look´s like the weel teeth look´s too big, maybe just an impression.
anyway realy nice, i´ll keep watching for updates.
