I built this AvP2 (Aliens vs. Predator 2) level in 3DsMax 4.2 . The textures and player skins were done in Photoshop. This is my 1st completed work in 3DsMax and also in Dedit (AvP2 Level editor).

This screenshot was taken before the concrete snow texture was created and aligned. Completed screens and WIP shots can be seen here www.iart.ca/maps.htm (http://www.iart.ca/maps.htm)

I have always been a fan of the Aliens and Predator series, and with the import/export plugins between Dedit & Max/Maya coming available, this was a chance to create an interactive enviroment.

Thx people.

Looks pretty good!

Though I think you should consider taking more pics and of different angles to show you level more effectively

ok, here are some more views of my level

the only sound outside is the cruch of snow under your feet. That and the falling snow really help create the mood when in game.

under the frozen crust are tunnels of lava and heat-scorched metal catwalks

looking at these screenshots now, i notice some misaligned rock textures. A note to anyone wanting to build in a 3D package then export to map editor.... get those textures aligned exactly, because adjusting them later will make you go crazy. For now, I will simply learn from the experience and move on.
