Hehe, V-Ray said that Maya was on the cards 2 years ago. As did Brazil.
Face it, they think Max is a better market.. I wish them luck.

The only feature we miss in Maya is what's called SkyLight in other renderers like VRay,Brazil and Final Render.
Beside this, Mental Ray is far better !! I could say the best if there is no Renderman in the area ;)
But I've heard from someone who I trust, that Brazil will be availbe soon for Maya.
ps: dis moi stp t'es un français ou un allemand?

Make a huge sphere and apply it a constant material.

You forgot to add:
And enable Final Gathering with a very high FG Rays, and wait forever to get a quick feedback.
But honeslty, I prefer MR , but I'm jealous when I see other renderers, that's all.

concerning vray .. i ask cause i friend of mine that i would call ann insider told me that some selected studio are working with a beta...
having a good experience of vray in max.. i woukd be pleased to see it working with maya
on an other way if mental ray is really nicely integrated in maya 6 as some rumore are telling ... then that would be ok too
