the biggest problem was the chrome-effect and i think it's not perfect at the moment. how would you guys do that?

the comic-rework is very good though imho she cannot really be recognized as milla. doesn't matter, looks good.:applause:

I gave it a little go as well . . . besides the obvious, i gave her some small cosmetic changes as well, made her lips a wee bit fuller, added some 'depth' to the eyes, changed her nose slightly too . . .

Thanks guys! By the way, is the film as crappy as it looks?
I was gutted when I heard Romero wasn't to direct it, and regutted when I heard Mr. Event Horizon was doing it (god that was an awful film!).

Anyway, keep 'em comming!

puddlefish that is an awesome job, love the internal organs, how'd you do that, my only crit on that one is the colour of the blood, too red IMO. great entries, wish I had time but too busy drawing dancing gorillas.

Thanks Kaiskai. Pretty straightforward Photoshop jiggery pokery really. The background was cloned so as to remove part of her body (her lower arm, her stomach). A colour layer was placed over to alter her skin tone and the colour of her dress.

The rest (including the exaggerated blood red) comes from watching hours upon hours of Romero and Fulci zombie films. Can't get enough of that gory goodness!! :thumbsup:

sorry I don't have time to participate, but I will start up a new one that I think will be fun but a few interesting additions to spark some more variation and creation Look for ForumFun2.

I think we should have a new Forum Fun thread each week, or maybe come up with a better name, but keep the short like a week or something so that its not like th challenges where everyone loses time and interest or new things pop up so they can't finish, this will be a simple on week take the image and and do a sketch colour not necessary but always welcomed and such.

I will join in once my table is a little clearer or I really need a break form what I am doing or whatever.

This sounds like a great thing to do.. i'm gonn have a go tonight... as coming up with new ideas is hard sometimes.. and i haven't got the skills yet to do without copying something.. so providing a "starter" image is cool.

Heres a sketch i did of our miss jovovich... lots of problems with it.. the legs are wierd.. and i think the head needs to of started lower.. but we can only get better with more practice huh?

Sangotten, you and your crazy threads. I'll try this one as well. I wanted to practice using a ref. so don't be pissed that this looks a lot like masamune shirow. If people want, I can clean it up and fix the anatomy problems.

I actually found this pose quite hard to draw, considering her right shoulder is hidden, and entire left arm. and for some reason i just couldn't get the legs right. grumble.
