I like the style and the colours.

I've been receiving a lot of comments on other forums about the apparent sexuality in this picture. It was not really meant to be sexual in that way... rather it was intended to be about caring, love, resurection and the birth of Christianity.

(No pun/rhyme jokes on "resurection"... please :) )

Great job, I am glad to see someone working with this style of painting, it looks like a collage form with abstraction of the old biblical paintings. The one thing that I would like to know, is why did you style the hair of the character on the lower right straight up? It along with the chocker/tattoo around the neck gives it an Egyptian characteristic, was this intentional, and why?

jrwells... thanks for your comment. Intentional on the Egyptian look. Nope... though I agree it might well have that appearance. My reasons are simply that I liked the way it looked.

It's taken awhile, but I believe I understand this picture better myself now. I've always known what it was about, but the literal meaning was struggling to get to the surface. A good deal of the inspiration for it came from reading a book several months ago - "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. The strength and maternity of women in early Christianity. If you haven't read it, I strongly recommend doing so. An exciting read and an extraordinary novel.

I expect to see this kind of picture in a museum XD...

The only thing I think that seems stand out (maybe intentional?) Is the face of the guy in the middle, his face seems more real than the other characters in the painting not as distorted.
