i can't open any avi inside combustion 3 , it works fine with .mov files but when i try to open (( ANY )) .avi combustion crash,
i know it is a codec problem but if all works fine in my computer why not combustion ? and is there any special codec for this ...

Hi...

Cv3 should be able to open an AVI without problems.....

Hmmmmmm.... That is weird.... VERY weird.........

Well, I can only say that when things start getting a little
weird from me in Combustion - i.e. strange & unusual errors
-- such as you have decribed here ---

I always "Reset" Combustion to normal>

thx Jack for the tip .
anyway it wasn't missing codec , it was too much of codecs!!
so it works now..
