This is my first serious attempt to free form modeling, I mostly do architecture visualization were the forms are more geometrical .
This is a futuristic jewel which is the BA project of my girl friend.
Any comment is welcome…

Looks nice but Ditch that cheezy lenzflares! never use em in that part of a render... its a nice model but what the heck is it? looks to me someones gitch on da floor! :) but it nice though :) is it a necklace? keep up da good work lad.

yes is a necklace...with digital capabilities..like phone..pda..etc..

actually judicious use of a lensflare to highlight speculars is fine.

Just lose the reflections (the big circles opposite the flare). They're out of place.

I used the box method to do it, but i am not so please...
