There is a book - Max 4 Workshop. Does anyone have it? Pros and cons of the book anyone? Cause i'm going to buy but wouldn't like to buy some stupid book. It looks cool...

i have that book. REally good book. goes into detail about a lot of things i did not know about. Also it is definitly good for beginners. like me

Its a great book for beginners. I mainly work on modelling so don't get to see much of the animation side. Depends what you want out of it?

You get to follow a project from beginning to end. It also showed me shortcuts to some of my workflows that I did not know existed.

Of course, CGTalk does that everyday.
