This is the first of six characters that i'm making for a short animation film. It is based on the Unreal Tournament Game Series-Characters. Here is the first one named XDeuce.
I ' ve aready posted this on Gallery/Finished work 3d forum but i would like a very serious critique about the Design , feel and Modeling of the Character.....so please SHOOT ME!!!!

Oops dimitris.. didn't you forget s/t? :p would love to see wires and software.

Aight, the difference between the left and right character is that the dark guy doesn't have his arms covered. You see the muscles/veins, all very cool, but the other guy has them too. I never believe they are so clearly visible through his suit :)

I think it would be better if you made the glass of the helmet of the white guy of the same material as that from the dark guy. But that's personal preference.

what are those things on the back of the dark guy?

hi Garma ...sorry for not posting wires ..i will soon as i get home to my pc.

Concerning LEFT and Right images...left is the model as model...no textures and right is the model wih textures.
The things on the back of the guy are Jet wings...he weres jetpack on his back...lol

Looking good.
Is he supposed to be a robot who looks a bit like a human or is it actually a human with armor? If it's the later then his neck is too thin in the front view, his arm material could use some work and the arm does not look organic enough, the anatomy itself looks a bit strange.

I noticed, that his shoulder armor does not seem to be attached to the rest of the armor.

What happened to the blasters on the textured version?

Modeling looks great except for the upper arms which look a bit odd as far as anatomy goes. What is the horizontal ridge across the biceps?
