Have you heard if anyone is developing a Mac NormalMapping Filter for Photoshop CS. I was dissapointed to see that only Windows gets the free tools on Nvidia's site. Thanks.

Well, the source code is there, so maybe you can co-opt someone to build a Mac version...

I'll definitly give it a wirl. I'm not much of a coder. A little here and a little there is all I've done when it comes to coding. But I will definitly give it a shot.

So, like the man said:
Anyone care to try this one on for size?

Heres a link to the mac normal mapper but its for lightwave. Thats the best I can offer, not a photoshop filter but still it's a mac normal mapper and it works great.

Everything is helpful. However, I'm using Maya and I can build my own software based Normal Map Shader and extractor pretty easily, thanks to great people showing me how to. I wanted to be able to paint them in Photoshop. Your link does have links to other info on Normal maps too, which might lead so something more helpful to myself. So your link might not have helped me directly, but there are a ton of mac people out there too, who use lightwave, that would love to probobly use this plug-in. Thank you for the link.
