CGTalk - Bitmap resolution

Hi guys,

When I aplly an "Image / Grayscale / Bitmap (any effect)" my picture change of resolution, generally increasing resolution.

Why does it happen? What can I do to keep my picture in 720/486?

when you convert, you are asked what dpi to convert to...make sure its the same as the image your converting to
