After all the time Ive been modeling Ive really never ran into this problem before. Guess its better now then never...lol

Well anyways. Im making a 3d scene of my room and the first object im creating is my gamecube I splined modeled most of it already and ive converted it to editable poly. But When I made the spline on the part near the power button I didnt have enough verts to make a good enough cylinder shape.

Ive clicked add and had snap3 on, clicked where I wanted the vert and it went right on the edge like it was supposed too, but when I moved the vert to get the shape better it just dragged off into space..lol..I definatlly know im doing something wrong here. And I would really love it if someone had an answer for me on what to do. Thanks in advance.

Adding only verts wil not do ;) You need to cut the edges or faces in place You need new vertex.

try shapemergeing a circle and messing around with the polys - only a suggestion though! :buttrock:
