yeh! Thatīs predy dificult to choose 1 software to work, but you try to make a list! :p
- see the price, and the "fame of the program" (if the program is know for much people)
- see demo reels of company to see what the best their programa can do.
- to finish see how much you can cost whith a program and see what you can buy!
- see what program the film company (the BIG ones) uses! :buttrock:
I work with MAYA because (I think so) is the best sotware of the World (is my opinion), he have like the other programs some problems, (I start with 3d Studio Max from discreete) the MAYA 5.0 have a powerfull render (MentalRay), Best modeling tools, best tools for animation etc.
The 3dsMax 6.0 have too a best render (finalRender), good modeling tools, but in animation he loses some credit, and have too the Lighwave (...) I donīt remenber what version is that but his have only polygoal modeling (insted the other have (Nurbs, Subdivion surfaces) and a good render too but of animation can speak because I donīt know predy much this program!
after that is just try to learn learn learn ...
I think this can help! :D
