Wow, it's been about 10 months since I've done up anything like this. I spent hours and hours on it, starting without an idea at all, muddling myself into it. I had to get something new in for Expose 2 though.
As I was sketching her out, I was definately inspired by the Castlevania games. I've always wondered if there would ever be a female Belmont.
Although I'm not exstatic about the overall picture, I am happy that I was able to do a few new things with my coloring, and I will be improving on my painting in the future as well. For my next drawing (whenever that will be) I will definately focus on rendering out realistic lighting and shadows. I really like the hot lighting I've seen on some artwork.
