View Full Version : MAX5 and Spline IK solver flip problem

I'm working an commercial where is a swimming fish.
I have built a spline which the bones should follow. But there's a problem.
Itīs working fine until there is 180degree turn in that path. For some reason the skeleton flips backwards...
I've tried everything but I can't fix this.
Any ideas?

Have you tried manually animate the Bank parameter?? also turn off upside down..
Not sure if it will help..

ahh.
I finally solved the problem.
So there is no problem anymore. :)

I had to tweak some axis values in IK hierarchy.
