hi guys,

I created a surface by beveling a cv spline, now I want to make a hole in it with this eliptical nurbs cyclinder. Isnt the beveled surface a Nurb? cause I tried the Nurbs booleaning with a couple Nurbs primitives, and they work perfectly, but if I do it with my beveled surface and this eliptical nurbs cylinder, it doesnt do anything. I tried the boolean in polygons just for the heck of it, obviously that didnt work

I read the Index part for Nurbs booleaning, says I have to select Subtract, and then select the first surface, press enter, and then selec the second surface, and it will boolean.

but its not working, please help, thanks in advanced.:scream:

First..delete all the history for the nurbs beveled object
2. go to edit nurbs > boolean > substract
3. select the top beveled surfaces then hit enter
4. select the cylinder then hit enter

When I look at your attachment, I think your bevelplus output is set to polygons instead of NURBS.

As you can see if you use output as NURBS the top surface will be a trim surface which is not in your case.

Please check whether you set output of your bevel plus is set to NURBS surface.

Sweet Jesus, thanks a lot guys, you were absolutely right MisterDi.

no wonder I couldnt select the surface with the Nurbs boolean tool. because of that bevel option it didnt recognize it as a nurbs object.

you guys rock thanks a lot.
