View Full Version : Model: Just your average Alien
tjnyc 01-31-2004, 04:23 AM Hi,
I modeled this from one of Carlos Huante's character design in his artbook Monstruo(www.designstudiopress.com). It was modeled in SILO and Maya.

I like. Great job! Maybe a lambert texture map, as the blinn esque kinda highlights too much? Pretty though. Nice muscular deformations =)

damn, nice model the muscles structure is really cool and looks reall solid and convincing considering the strange form of the character, though, it seems like maybe the back muscles are a little too defined and the folds in the pants are a little odd, but that's mostly just nitpicking.
I've got a question though.... not as, like, an art critique or anything, but why would an organism that's so symmetrical in it's trunk and limbs have such a strange asymmetrical head? :D
