hi,
does someone know how to background a system function call in mel?
example: >system "notpad.exe"
this opens notepad, but maya is blocked untill you close it.
like under *(U)NIX you can use the "&" to make a process independent from the calling process.
although windows is pretty stoooopid -i know-
it should still be possible to mimic the unix behaviour on NT.
but who can tell me how?
TIA
