Is there a way to restict rigid binding to one or two axis? The idea is to animate a flat character with a standard ik rig, but for it to work the cvs need to stay planar. My other approach was making clusters and contraining them to the joints, but then of course I can't use flexors and the effect is different. I don't know much about this area of maya, can anyone help me? Thanks.
