CGTalk - part selections

anyone know how t remove a part group without removing poly's?? it must be a simple thing to do, but i cannot find the answer.... :annoyed:

Here's a way to do it:

1. Select the polygons with the part group you want to remove.

2. Press "i" to popup the Polygon Info window. At the bottom of that window, you should see the Part name.

3. Just clear (backspace or del) the Part name and it's done. :)

Just select that part via stastics, hit "i" and delete part name frome information window, hit OK and wolla!
