Hi All
I'm Just getting the finishing touches on a Auto Character rigging plugin for Lightwave 7.5c, And looking for afew people to help with the final Testing, and workflow and as I write the tutorials and Manual, mainly looking for a small number of

A/ Character animator's that would like the test some Rigs and give there ideas on how to improve the Rig,
Also work on exsample animation scenes to be supplied with package - Tutorial and Manual )

B/ Character Modelers who want a easy rigging plugin
and supply models for animation tests that will be supplied with package - Tutorial and Manual )
send link's to your work if you got em

At the moment this rig is pure Lightwave no special plugins are used to run the finished Rig ( Fast to animate this way ),
Not even follower or proxy pick. And the only expressions used are in the facual rig i would like to keep it that way =).
This plugin supplies a Great IK Rig, weighted and with animation control points setup but can easily be edited and changed

email me here t4d@thomas4d.com

Here's a exsample Pic
a basic model I've made total Modeling and rigging time 4 hours
including facual joystick rig

That's good news, are you going to sell it after or is it going to be free ?
I'm actually using acs4 that i love, but it's true that it can be a bit slow sometimes.

That looks really cool, T4D.:buttrock:

I wish I had time to sign up for your BETA, but don't.

Let us know when you've got it up for sale. I am really interested in the joystick controls and have some character work coming up.

I guess i would fall in the "B" category. I haven't done any character animation because I don't know how to make a decent rig. If I had a good rigging plugin I would definitely be animating some of my characters. I would be up for doing testing. I would be able to give you the perspective of a novice rigger/animator that would be using your plugin. :wavey:

BTW, I emailed you. :bounce:

Hey T4D,
I like the pic you posted. The rig looks pretty nice! Well done. :applause:

Just curious- what part of the face do the icons in the middle row, on the left/right stand for? (the box). I can figure out the others- eyebrows, eyes and mouth... but the box?

Thanks,
~Mechis

That would be great to try out. I just got your rig working in a model I am animating now. That would be great to compare.

I even have endomorphs so it would be great to tie them into the joystick system.

still alittle undesided on that one, it's a very useful plugin But with Lightwave 8 coming out so soon I'll have to talk to the beta tester about it.
Would you pay money for a autorigger plugin with LW 8 so near ?
And the beta tester get a free version :)

pdrake
It's Ls script at the moment with no really hard core programing going on So it should work ... Maybe LOL =) But i do have a mate who could convert it for you mac guys

Middle Row is
right Jaw placement ( up down left right )
middle mouth shape ( O,M, E, Big O )
Jaw placement ( scale up, scale down,Jaw forward, jaw back )

the face rig system is very open it has a plugin that sets up those null controls objects and a expression library but you Tie the expression to the Endomorph channls yourself in Graph editor
this way you can redo the icons in modeler and uses whatever endo's you like and complete change the Face rig to suit the job very easy,
everyone animate differently set of plugins let you do it your way.
