hi all

i am doing some hires textures at the moment.
making them seamless is no problem i use "the gimp"

Question:

How can I even up colors, darkness/brightness, so the whole
textures is homogen, perfect. ???
(I have some photos where the edges are slightly darker
than the middle so I get seamless textures with this
stupid sphere in every tile !!!)

I need professional advice, I know I can do it manually,
anyone suggest some quick smart way ??????????????

thank you very much, regards raypin

Sometimes making gradient masks for the edge areas is good enough, or a High Pass filter. For other images, maybe this tutorial (in Photoshop but with operations you could do in other apps) might be useful:

ty, that was exactly what i meant,

thanks for helping.

i wreckon it is better to make good photos,
shot when the light is diffuse so, tiling
will be more perfect.

thanks champ
