wildsheepchase 01-29-2004, 10:17 AM Hi! This is my entry for the T-Dome Challenge at conceptart.org. I'd like to get it ready to submit to Expose, so I'm looking for a crit on the overall quality of the piece. I'm still tightening up the rendering on the cables and background, but any crits would be greatly appreciated.

Its a cool concept, but something lacks about the colours, it isnt as vibrant as it could be.
The head seems placed on the body but no attached.
Maybe adding some colour thats completely of on the tube nearest the camera? Or try to make the nearest areas a bit warmer to add to a depth in the picture?
You have the line from right top corner to left bottom now, since exposé would be an american production people who read from top left to bottom right would be a majority I guess. That would mean that the wievers also look at your picture in that order and the pictures therefor looses a bit of its flow.
Peronally, I like it when its flipped around.
Good luck on the expose thingy :)

Alice, thanks for the crits!
I think I'm going to go back and make some adjustments to the colors to add depth. About the neck, I don't really think the neck would be visible with the position he's in, but I'll take that into consideration.
Thanks!

There's still some refining to be done, but I think the color is working better. What do you guys think?
