Has anyone encountered this problem...

When I enter UV Edit in Bodypaint, the UV Mapping dialog reads "plugin not found".

I checked and modified my system path to include Photoshop, but still... no dice.

By the way, I'm a new CD4 user and I think I will benefit greatly from this forum.

Thanks in advance for the input.

Hmmm are you using Body Paint standalone, or the module? Perhaps you could try reinstalling the module, or double checking that all plugins were installed?

Hi,
when and where exactly do you see the message "plugin not found"?
Is it at startup or while the program is running?
"Plugin not found" usualy tells you that a certain plugin that is used in the scene you have opened is not installed.
If you get a message "Plugin.dll not found" during startup it's most likely some problem with your Photoshop, AE or Premiere installation since BodyPaint wasn't able to include the Adobe Bitmap Filter. This has no impact on CINEMA/BodyPaint except that these Adobe filters are not available.

Enter the Bodypaint module in C4D,

At the lower right, there is menu folder titled "UV Mapping"

inside this folder is where it reads "Plug-in not found".

I first noticed a problem when I moved and re-scaled a single poly in the mesh layout. When I selected another tool, the poly snapped back to it's original position and size.

Maybe it has nothing to do with a Mapping plug-in???

Or in my case... maybe it's an electrical short between my seat and the keyboard!

Hm, seems something went wrong during installation. You should reinstall the module from the CD.
