View Full Version : Tutorials for pfx/fur??
popnGEAR 06-26-2002, 09:42 PM I'm trying create some realistic looking grass that blows and everythin. Anyone know of any tutorials that show this, or that could even get me started? I have no experience with pfx or fur :(

I helped a friend out with this, but you don't need help really. (did that make sense?) Just open up the brush and paint a line. Then change about a BILLION settings to make it look nice. Ha. Actually, it's only about the first 8 or 9 settings you need to open up. Then there's another set of fields for the stroke, or line, I can't remember, as I'm not at home right now. It really is alot easier than it looks.

if your create your PFX strokes i think there is a turbulence that comes with it. In the Tubes>Behaviour> there is a grass wind preset.
I haven't tried PFX with fields, maybe someone else knows if that works or not. I'll give it a try.
