Hi there,
Heres my finished sting for a local (UK) university animation festival that is being held this week.
i used Softimage XSI and Adobe After Effects to create it.
Any comments/crit are welcome.

version: Sorenson mov (http://www.freerangeanimation.com/animation/animex_sorenson.mov) (6.3 megs)

wow, really well done. difficult to show depth and movement on a solid colored background. I liked the flutter of the antenna and the chute movement was caught really well. nice work.:beer:

thanks for your reply.
that was the main reason why i made this animation. i was trying to imply perspective and motion through the animation of the TV character and im pleased with the final result.
also,
i thought that the contrast of the single colour background would work effectively against the black and white of the tv.

I thought you meant that you prepared an entry when you said you prepared something for th contest. :) Very nicely done. Simple and elegant. One of those things that comes across as effortlessly natural. :)

Liked the split screen a lot, and the music was just downright funky! Nice job.
