maybe somebody knows this problem and maybe somebody can help ?!?

I modeled my spaceship, saved it a few times.......but the next time I started maya the scenes are totally messed up....the faces are there but totally wrong, not in the right form :annoyed:

I think those scenes are lost...but it would be nice if somebody knows why this happend......so that this won't happen again

the only difference to my other scenes is that I modeled them during batch rendering

I don't know what the problem is, but you should save you file into different file names now and then, so you do't have to redo the whole thing if it gets corupt etc.

is it all one object?

if it is, try going through the history and deleting the history nodes one by one.

if its not one object, then are all the objects screwed up?

were you use connectPolyShape script?

did you try deleting the history nodes on one of your screwed up scene files?

go into attribrute editor, choose one of the history tabs press the "select" button down the bottom and then press delete on the keyboard.

repeat this until the problem goes away or you ahve no history nodes, whichever comes first ;)

probably won't work since it happened to all your scene files, but then at least you will know its nothing to do with the history.

this happens now to all my scenes :((((

allready reinstalled maya, but the same problem again

every scene I save is messed up if I open it again

the scene only works if I delete the history before saving

anybody has an idea ?!?!

have you tried opening your scenes on a different machine ? - maybe post a scene sample so we can give it a try
