Just rendered a nice abstract tight shot of the back of my concept car with the new Westley Motors logo that I came up with a couple days ago, I dunno, I like it, if this were a real brochure cover I'd want to see what's inside I think. The car isn't 100% complete, still going to add a hexagonal patterned mesh grill around the tailights and I still need to badge the car and everything, it's probably 95% complete at this point.
The render was done in MentalRay Maya 5 Unlim with the free hdri image from hdrimaps.com I have since decided to buy their first cd, I'm very impressed with the hdr image samples I downloaded.
By the way, the name Westley has nothing to do with anything, I just like the sound of it, nice vintage sound which is what I wanted, calling a company something like Axiom is far too trendy. The company is a fairly classy one so the logo is fitting I'd say.
